[TSVN] problems with checkout, and lock

Hello!

I am a new user for tortoiseSVN. I have installed the application with no
problems. Yet, in a checkout action I get the follwing error:

can't copy:
'c:/foldername/tags/source/.svn/tmp/text-base/filenam.cpp.svn-base' to
'c:/foldername/tags/source/filename.cpp.tmp' the system can not find the
file specified

The repository is in a server (not local to my machine) and checkout to
both unix and windows happen. The repository was created with linux.
I can checkout a revision with linux. Yet, I can't with windows. I guess
I should say: I am able to check out to revision but I can not update or
commit. If I try to execute either of this actions I am requested to do
a cleanup and I can't becouse my download is locked. Can I unlock it
some how?
